2009′s Inglorious Basterds came just two years after Grindhouse and Death Proof. The bad news for Tarantino fans is the wait this time around is going to be a total of at least four years. The good news is that Quentin currently has two projects in the pipeline:

Django Unchained

Tarantino is the writer and director of this 2013 drama/western. Filming is slated to begin in fall of this year. Will Smith is currently labeled as this film’s lead. A review from WeGotThisCovered.com provides an overview of the film’s script.

Django (Smith) is a slave. After being purchased by traders, his story up to this point is told through flashbacks. The story then moves on to how Django is freed from slavery and follows the path he continues down. While the review divulges several more paragraphs of information about the script, I don’t want to give away any additional information about the movie. It is worth noting that the review says that the last thirty minutes of the film should be one wild ride! Based on just the script, the review’s rating of this revenge movie is a 7.5.

Kill Bill: Vol. 3

This 2014 film comes a decade after Vol.2 was released. Uma Thurman will reprise her role as The Bride. The film will also feature the return of Daryl Hannah as Elle Driver. A rumored addition to the cast is Julie Dreyfus as Sofie Fatale.

For fans who don’t want to wait until at least 2014 to see Uma Thurman on the big screen, they should be able to see her in 2012′s Savages. This film is also slated to star Tarantino alum John Travolta.
